About Seighford Pub Company Ltd

In the Spring of 2012 the pub was saved from permanent closure by a number of local residents, who came together to buy the property, and so ‘The Seighford Pub Company Ltd’ was formed!  Following many months of refurbishment by both the shareholders and our first tenant Titanic Brewery and Pub Company, the pub eventually opened for business on the 29th November 2012. Titanic is a local brewing company based in Stoke on Trent, and they successfully managed the pub until May 2016.

We would like to express our thanks to David Bott, Mark Robbie and all at the Titanic Brewery for all the good work they have done over the last four years, for turning an empty shell of a building into a successful and viable business!

The Hollybush is a ‘Free House’ that is fully owned by The Seighford Pub Company Ltd. It is managed by a board of Directors (all voluntary) on behalf of the shareholders and the pub is leased to our present tenant Michael Huntley!

To assist our tenant, we hold regular shareholder work parties to carry out various duties, including some gardening and minor property maintenance etc !
